Q. What are your prices?A. Just email us and we will send you an information pamphlet with pictures and a standard price list, either online or in the mail. Q. How do you ship?A. We ship through a third party. Our shipping broker searches for the least expensive or the rush delivery, depending on your needs. Shipping is not included in our price and will be billed to you separately by the third party. Q. How is the stone packaged?A. All stone is palletized for easy loading and unloading with a forklift. Pallets are (depending on product) caged and banded, or shrink wrapped. For more info see "pallet descriptions" in our gallery.
Q. How many square feet in a pallet? A. Our Thin Stone is typically cut at 1.25" thick, a 1 ton pallet works out to approx. 140 sq/ft at 14lbs per sq/ft. The full stone varies from which product you choose, thicker stone is 30-40 sq/ft in a ton, with the thinner stone being 70-90sq/ft in a ton. Full stone pallets typically weigh 1.5-2tons. This is not taking into account the style in which the mason or landscaper will lay the stone, some ways create more spoils than others. Q. How much does the Thin Stone weigh? A. At an average of 1.25" thick it averages 14lbs per sq/ft on the high end. |
